My previous job as an Internal Auditor and currently a Paraplanner has honed my critical thinking skills, interpersonal skills, time management and being keen to details. I am always learning everyday and I like to research on things I’m not much knowledgeable. I just like discovering and incorporating things that could improve not just the quality of my work and life but also being able to add value in others’ work as well.
Paraplanning involves a lot of typing, time management, hollistic understanding of a client’s goals, objectives, financial and personal situation. I could say we’re sort of like financial advisers but which we don’t directly engage with our clients unlike what the advisers do.
This job equipped me with a skillset that I could expand more outside of my current job.
