I am a Licensed Civil Engineer and graduate of the University of Cebu, currently working as a Paraplanner at VBP, supporting financial advisers in preparing Statements of Advice (SOAs), conducting strategy research and product comparisons, analysing client data, and assisting in the development of compliant, client-focused financial plans aligned with Australian regulatory requirements.Prior to transitioning into financial planning, I worked with the Cebu City Government’s Office of the Building Official, where I reviewed building permit applications for compliance with the National Building Code of the Philippines, evaluated plans and technical documents, and coordinated with stakeholders to ensure all regulatory requirements were met prior to approval.Alongside this, I worked as a Construction Estimator for an Australian flooring company, specializing in systems such as carpet, vinyl, epoxy, and engineered timber. I produced accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates using RFMS Measure and collaborated closely with project managers and sales teams to support project delivery.Earlier in my career, I served as a QA/QC Site Technical Assistant at Rider Levett Bucknall Philippines, where I developed strong experience in documentation, coordination, and ISO 9001:2015-compliant project
processes. My engineering background strengthened my analytical thinking, accuracy, and structured problem-solving approach, which I now apply to financial planning support, compliance workflows, and adviser collaboration. I am committed to continuously developing my paraplanning expertise and contributing to efficient advice preparation and positive client outcomes within Australian financial services environments.
