RESEARCHER
- Conducts literature reviews to understand the current state of knowledge of a topic- Utilizes ABAQUS for finite element analysis - Analyzes experimental and simulation results to draw conclusions and make recommendations- Maintains detailed and accurate records of experiments, data, and simulation parameters- Prepares reports, papers, and documentation for internal use or publication- Collaborates with other members of the research team- Prepares visual aids and presentations to effectively communicate research results- Stays updated on the latest developments
STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
- Familiarity with the following structural building codes: NSCP, ACI, ASCE, FEMA
- Performs analysis and design of structural elements using ETABS, SAFE, MIDAS, SpColumn, MATHCAD, LPile, and MS Excel
- Implements quality assurance measures for design outputs produced using software tools
- Reviews and verifies that design calculations, plans, and specifications meet industry standards and project requirements
- Coordinates with CAD drafters to ensure that design outputs produced using AutoCAD align with structural engineering standards. Provides guidance and support in the drafting process
- Collaborates and communicates with architects, other engineering disciplines, and project stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and integrated design approach, address concerns, discuss design concepts and changes, and provide updates on project progress

- Prepares and organizes project documentation, including design reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence
