Primary Duties and Functions
- Electrical assessments of
potential plants from pre-screening, screening, pre-development, development,
and execution for Solar, Wind Power Plants, and Battery Energy Storage Systems
(BESS).
- Conducts site surveys for
proposed communication systems of substations, switchyards, and power plants.
- Deliver timely technical support, advice, and assistance pertaining to ICC scope through effective collaboration with other teams & engineers to develop accurate, efficient equipment and instrumentation in accordance with safety and usability standards and client expectations
- Oversees the implementation of devices and control systems ensuring it is correctly installed and properly tested.
- Lead the testing and commissioning and energization of power plants to complete energization as load and as generator and pass compliance tests.
- Liaise NGCP to schedule and test with their MTD, SIOMD, and SCADA team.
- Conduct Grid Compliance Test & Variable Renewable Energy (VRE) Remote Test with NGCP.
- Conduct the Performance Ratio Test for different plants using both monofacial and bifacial module in accordance the IEC standards.
- Coordinate with the EPC and different suppliers / vendors.
- Conduct and attend Factory Acceptance Tests abroad for Inverters, Substation Automation System (SAS).
