Hi I am -----------. I’ve been working as a Tax Preparer for over four years. I had the privilege of working at one of the top 50 best accounting firms in the US. where I built a strong foundation and gained hands-on experience preparing various types of returns.
I have prepared and reviewed federal and multi-state income tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, S Corp, and C Corporations. I also handle FBAR and expatriate tax.
Beyond technical preparation, I supervise teams and manage the entire tax process—from gathering client documents and preparing working papers, to adjusting entries, checking if the retained earnings is accurately rolled forward, and doing reconciliation for payroll M-1, M-2 and fixed assets.
I communicate directly with clients to request the missing open items and answer their concerns related to their tax return.
To stay up to date, I regularly conduct tax research and visit the IRS website, especially when resolving IRS-related issues.
I am highly proficient in several tax software, including CCH Axcess, ProConnect, Lacerte, Drake, UltraTax, and ProSeries ATX. For workflow and document management, I use platforms such as TaxDome, Canopy, ClickUp, SmartVault, Karbon, CCH Engagement, SurePrep, and Corvee.
In addition to tax preparation, I assist the Tax Director or Manager with tax planning and strategy by gathering all necessary documents and entering data into the planning templates and input the information into the tax software to automatically compute potential tax due or refunds.
I also participate in regular training sessions and daily huddles with the U.S. tax team to provide updates on my progress, pending tasks, and unresolved questions for the tax manager.
