I graduated with Latin Honors (Cum Laude) from Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology with the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Last 2021, I have gained my Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree under the same department and institution.
I have been teaching for more than 3 years now, I was a Research Capstone Senior High School faculty at the University of Science
and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) for a semester. Furthermore, I became a Social Studies faculty at Oro Christian Grace School (OCGS) in Cagayan de Oro City for two academic years. Currently, I am on a contract-basis College Instructor at Capitol University under the College of Arts and Social and Behavioral Sciences.
With my teaching experiences ranging from elementary to SHS, this puts me to an advantage,
since teaching in these levels require immense patience, creativity and various strategies in keeping the class engaging, interesting and compelling. As such, this bank of skills will highly be useful in both the realm of education & research.
Due to the pandemic, the academe has transitioned to an online class setup--which meant teachers had to record video lessons, edit such videos and post it in a specific platform to make it more accessible to students. With this, I have been trained and have become more confident with the following set of skills: expert utilization of Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, PPT, Excel etc.) , module-drafting and editing, expert use of Google Office/Suite or MS Office/Teams, video lesson making and basic video editing.
Since teaching in college meant having a lot of extra hours, I wanted to spend much of my free time doing another work wherein I can share and positively contribute with the talent, ideas, knowledge and skills that I already possess.
