I have been in the Business Process Outsourcing industry for over 7 years, doing customer service, sales, technical support, & billing. Over the years, I acquired a range of skills, both hard and soft. I worked for an Australian telco account, handling billing & credit management for both inbound & outbound. I also handled a US health insurance account, wherein I assisted members with their insurance enrollment, medication refills, eligibility, and retention. Efficiently communicate with doctors & pharmacies regarding their patients’ prescriptions & prior authorizations.
As a customer service & sales representative for a US outbound sales account I efficiently assisted customers by answering and giving solutions to their complaints, inquiries, taking orders, subscriptions and processed credit card payments in multiple databases, and assisting customers after sales which gave me an exceptional customer service recognition & commendation because the service that I provided not only end after I have closed the sale.
During the pandemic, I chose to work at home for the safety of my family. This demonstrates that I can work & quickly figure out things on my own and with less supervision.
I was hired as a medical biller/collector working remotely for a New York-based billing company, wherein my tasks include working on claims regarding rejections, denials, and accounts receivable. Calling insurance companies regarding claim status, processing an appeal, and working on the AR's.
In my most recent role as a Billing Specialist for a US client, I handled end-to-end billing processes, including insurance verification, charge entry, claims submission, medical records retrieval, rejections and denial management, AR follow-ups, and payment posting.
For the past several years, I’m continuously looking for ways to improve professionally, and learning Spanish now allows me to better serve diverse customers while increasing my competitiveness in the job market.
