I am a detail-oriented professional with a background in purchasing, import documentation, coordination, data entry, and administrative support. Through my experience as a Purchasing Assistant, I became familiar with logistics and import documents, including:
• Bureau of Customs (BOC) Philippines – Single Administrative Document (SAD)
• Bills of Lading (BOL) / Waybills
• Commercial Invoices & Packing Lists
• Insurance Certificates & Certificates of Origin
• Purchase Orders (PO), Proofs of Payment & Proofs of Delivery (POD)
• Shipping-related agreements between sellers/shippers and buyers/customers
This experience strengthened my document management, attention to detail, and coordination skills, which are highly transferable to a Freight Virtual Assistant role.
To further expand my logistics knowledge, I completed a 3-Day Intensive Freight Broker Training, where I gained hands-on exposure to freight brokerage operations, including:
✓ LTL & Volume LTL freight quoting
✓ Shipment entry and accurate data management
✓ Track & trace and daily updates
✓ Shipment booking through carrier websites or TMS platform
✓ Freight documentation (BOL), (POD), and follow-ups
✓ Carrier/customer communication
✓ Administrative and email support
✓ Understanding the freight process or full shipment lifecycle
During the training, an instructor provided a demonstration of the company-owned TMS, giving me practical insight into the systems and workflows commonly used by Freight Virtual Assistants.
I am now seeking an opportunity to apply my administrative and logistics background, continue developing my freight operations skills, and provide reliable support to freight brokers, dispatchers, carriers, and customers.
