What I do, at its core, is build systems that make organisations run better — financially, operationally, and from a compliance standpoint. I'm drawn to roles where I can look at how things actually work, find where the gaps are, and put the right structures in place.
Over the past two years, I worked remotely for a nationwide Australian accounting firm, managing financial operations for a portfolio of SMEs across construction, hospitality, retail, real estate, and disability care services. I handled end-to-end payroll (including superannuation compliance), BAS preparation, AP/AR, and reconciliations, but more than the tasks themselves, I developed a clear understanding of what financially healthy businesses do differently from those that struggle. That insight shapes how I approach every engagement.
I am currently working in organisational governance — specifically designing and refining the internal documentation frameworks that NDIS providers need to meet Practice Standards. I analyse where existing systems fall short, trace non-conformities back to their root causes, and rebuild the policies, procedures, and plans that close those gaps in a way that's practical, not just technically compliant.
I'm applying that same systems mindset to my family's construction start-up: building cost structures, establishing procurement systems, and creating the financial foundations that support confident, competitive bidding and sustainable growth.
I work independently, take ownership of my outputs, and communicate clearly. I'm currently not looking for a role, but feel free to get in touch if you think my skills match what you are looking for.
