In my 8 years in the construction industry as a quantity surveyor focused on land development, I have developed skills that are relevant to the job such as quantity takeoff, cost estimation, cost management in SAP, contracts management from budget uploading until project closeout, site coordination, procurement, as well as cost reporting. I have also taken on project monitoring and reporting from data gathering until report consolidation.
Also, during my college years, and prior to working in the construction industry, I worked 3 years as a travel sales executive for an international booking website which enabled me to develop my communication skills, customer service skills, and sales skills which has given me an edge in the corporate and managerial environment.
