Currently, I am a third-year law student. My journey into the practical realm of law began when I stepped into the role of a paralegal/legal researcher. I had the opportunity to work as a writer and legal assistant for a prominent politician in a local council. I was tasked with extensive legal research, analyzing proposed legislation, and providing materials and concise summaries for the council meeting. I also used to draft depositions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
With that, I believe my legal education, combined with my experience as a paralegal, creates a perfect dynamic blend for the position, making me well-suited for this role. I am excited to continue my journey as a law student, integrating these skills into my future legal practice, where I hope to make a meaningful impact in the field of law and beyond.
