As an accounting staff, my role revolves around supporting the financial operations of the organization by ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions. I am responsible for tasks such as data entry, where I input financial data into accounting systems, ensuring it's accuracy and also to maintain up-to-date records. Organizing and maintaining files is also a significant part of my daily duties, ensuring that all documents are easy to access and properly categorized, keeping them easily accessible for audits and reports. In addition, I assist in auditing processes, reviewing receipt, remittances, tickets, and passbooks carefully, ensuring that payments are properly recorded and filed. I also enter financial data into the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) portal, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and deadlines.
