I started out in the mortgage industry with Amerisave Mortgage Corporation, mainly doing verbal and written VOEs. Later on, I moved to New American Funding as a Jr. Loan Processor, where I handled document requests like payoffs, mortgage statements, HOIs, and VOEs. Everything was managed in Encompass. Both roles were through FlatWorld Solutions.
After that, I did some freelance work and then joined an agency supporting CrossCountry Mortgage. I worked as a Loan Assistant, setting up loans in Encompass, pulling credit, checking borrower docs in Blend, and ordering things like appraisals, escrow, and title. I also did VOEs, HOIs, payoffs, and entered info from new contracts. I even handled initial disclosures for a bit.
