My name is Gian Samuel Lumanglas, but you can call me Ian. I am a 26-year-old professional from the Philippines with three years of experience in customer service and another three years of experience working as a Virtual Administrative Assistant.
I began my career in the international telecommunications industry, where I developed strong skills in customer care, billing, sales and upgrades, basic technical support, and client retention. I handled both inbound and outbound calls for a major telecommunications account, allowing me to build confidence in communicating with diverse customers and resolving concerns efficiently.
After a year, I was promoted to Subject Matter Expert, where I supported a team of 15 agents. In this role, I assisted with payroll coordination, provided real-time support, handled escalation calls, monitored key performance metrics, and coached tea-----------mbers to help them improve their performance. This experience strengthened my leadership, problem-solving, and people management skills.
Alongside my BPO background, I have also worked as a Virtual Administrative Assistant, where I provided client support through calls and email, managed calendars and inboxes, and helped ensure smooth daily operations for my clients. I also served as a receptionist for an accounting firm, where I handled document requests, reviewed received documents, conducted basic audits, and prepared and sent documents for signature.
I take pride in being reliable, organized, and customer-focused. Whether assisting clients, supporting a team, or managing administrative tasks, I strive to communicate clearly, work efficiently, and deliver results that meet expectations. My combined experience in customer service and virtual administration allows me to adapt easily to different roles and contribute positively to any organization.
