I am ----------- ----------- A. -----------, a Certified Public Accountant with a master's degree in Business Administration, and a licensed Financial Advisor.
I started my career as an Audit and Assurance Associate of Deloitte Philippines in 2014, then shifted to academe as an Accounting Instructor in 2015. During my first teaching job, I was recruited by two (2) review centers to be a lecturer for the CPA Licensure Examination, particularly Auditing Problems (one of the subjects in the board exam).
I also became a -----------eral Ledger Accountant in 2019 after I left my first teaching job, and I'm now currently an Assistant Professor, a lecturer, and a licensed Financial Advisor.
As a professional who has an experience in three of the four sectors in accounting (i.e., Public, Academe, and Commerce and Industry), I believe that I have a very good understanding of accounting, particularly financial reporting. My strong theoretical knowledge, coupled with my actual experience in the industry, makes me a very well-rounded individual who knows what theories, standards, and principles to apply and when to apply them.
I am also very knowledgeable, not just in financial reporting, but in financial analysis as well, having been able to handle the -----------eral ledger of one of the biggest exporters in the Philippines - Texas Instruments (Philippines), Inc., and being a financial advisor who provides financial solutions to clients based on their financial needs, goals, and current financial situation.
I would describe myself as someone who always tries to understand how and why things work, and how to improve them. I am a very fast learner, and I always make sure that I can contribute in a team environment. I am also versatile, and am always up for new challenges.
