I am a Medical Virtual Assistant with hands-on experience supporting U.S. Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation accounts.
My background includes calling and texting 80–100 patients daily for appointment confirmations, completing pre-visit requirements, processing medical liens, coordinating signatures with patients and attorneys, following up with law offices for case updates, and handling medical records.
I have also worked as the assigned Medical Records VA for a Workers’ Compensation account. My responsibilities included requesting records from providers and involved parties, organizing medical files, removing duplicate or unnecessary pages, and helping ensure doctors received complete records before patient appointments.
Because of my performance and reliability, I was promoted to Production Supervisor within 14 months. In this role, I became a client point of contact for VA-related concerns, monitored attendance and workload, reviewed operational issues, coached tea-----------mbers, and maintained reports, trackers, and SOPs.
I am comfortable using IMS, Maui, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams. I am also HIPAA trained and experienced in handling sensitive patient information.
I am dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently. I take ownership of my tasks, communicate clearly, and make sure important follow-ups do not get missed.
