I was first introduced to Security when I worked as a Security Engineer where I was able to gain experience working with Next Generation firewalls, this experience helped me gain understanding of Security concepts , I gained knowledge not just in policy creation and management, VPNs, access lists, web content filtering and the like but also was able to gain understanding of email security, AV, DLP and more. All these helped me transition to my current work as a Host Security Support Engineer where I now manage endpoint of host Security tools, I have been exposed to email security, encryption, AV, DLP, File integrity monitoring and database activity monitoring.
I am someone who has a passion for continuous learning which is working to my advantage since the Cyber Security field is fast phased where it is important to stay up to date. I am a team player but is also a self starter. I am reliable and can take the lead when needed.
