Throughout my professional journey, I have gained invaluable experience and honed a diverse skill set within the legal landscape. Commencing in 2019, I ventured into the legal field as a Paralegal and Human Resource Officer at Azpired Inc., a notable Business Outsourcing Company. Here, my role primarily revolved around providing comprehensive administrative support and actively engaging in attending to labor retaliation cases. Moreover, I had the privilege of representing the company in crucial hearings at the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC).
In 2020, I began my journey as a paralegal at Mactan Rock Industries Inc. It was an immersive experience that delved into various facets of legal work. From preparing pleadings and discussing defenses with external counsel to drafting and reviewing contracts, my responsibilities were diverse. I found myself at the forefront of administrative hearings, representing the company in labor disputes, and handling civil cases and arbitration proceedings.
Moving ahead to 2022, I transitioned to the role of a Legal Assistant at Nextbank Inc., a software company with a specialized focus. Here, I found myself engaging in a different realm of legal work. Assisting clients with BSP approval applications for banks was a pivotal part of my responsibilities. Collaborating closely with lawyers, I actively participated in contract reviews, drafted legal documents, and undertook the meticulous task of summarizing complex agreements for easier comprehension.
