I have previously worked as a Back Support Representative from 2012 to 2015. Currently, I am employed as an Underwriting Assistant for one of the largest insurance companies in Australia.
I began my journey with this company in 2015 as a Customer Support Officer and was promoted in 2019 to the role of HR/Admin Assistant, a position I held until 2022. Alongside this, I also worked as a Credit Officer from 2022 to 2023 for a leading lending company in Australia. Currently, I continue to serve as an Insurance Underwriting Assistant.
These experiences have allowed me to consistently deliver high standards of service, while also helping me recognize areas for my own professional development.
With over two years of experience in insurance underwriting, I am proficient in using tools such as Evolve, QUW, OneFlow, Macro Tool, Illion Direct, ABN, ASIC, and Workday. I provide support to both onshore underwriters and brokers.
As outlined in my summary of qualifications, I am highly flexible and dependable in any tasks assigned to me. I take pride in being reliable—you can count on me to never abandon a task, and I’m always easy to reach. This level of commitment contributes greatly to my efficiency and performance.
Should the role require me to learn new software or systems, I am confident in my ability to pick them up quickly, often through self-learning—as I’ve done with many tools in the past. Once trained, I work well independently and require minimal supervision.
