Hi. My name is Precious Aubrey Gulane, I have been with Optum Global Solutions Philippines for 3 amazing years. My own objective as a worker is to help people live healthier lives by coordinating and deliberate other health organizations like Manufacturer, Insurance Companies, Facility Center Pharmacy and a lot more to make the health system work better for everyone.
Here are few of the task that I do with my previous work:
1. I was able to coordinate with the patient's insurance to help the patient generate a paid claim on their medications.
2. Call the manufacturer of the medication to help the patient lower down their copay amount.
3. Arrange and schedule delivery with the doctor's office staff to make sure patient will not be missing any doses.
4. Reach out to the doctor's office to get a renewed prescription to make sure prescription is on file before running out of any remaining prescription.
5. Schedule a callback to the patient and to the doctor's office to make sure that the medication will be shipped on time.
6. Submit patient's profile to our Medical Review Team to complete the medical benefit investigation of the patient.
7. Help patient determine whether his/her insurance approve their medication through Pharmacy Benefit or Medical Policy and let the doctor's office know about it so that it's easier for them to initiate prior authorization if needed.
8. Check with the patient's insurance who is the patient's new in-network pharmacy and request to transfer out the prescription to the new filling pharmacy by calling them.
