I’m a project manager and doing great at it. While I’ve experienced being a customer service representative, I’ve always been much better at managing big-picture projects and teams of individuals. Today, I’m consistently communicating with our clients and managing a design team.
I believe organized communication can solve every problem through emails, calls, daily check-ins, or tea-----------etings. Regular contact with the tea-----------mbers is necessary to keep track of progress. I hate wasting time. I’m always trying to trim downtime requirements, keeping these points short.
I’m constantly learning new skills. For better or worse, this also includes skills outside my career as a project manager. I know new marketing tools, new leadership tactics, and better methods for communication.
I want to start my own business eventually. While I love my career and can’t imagine leaving my team for the foreseeable future, I want to start my own business from the ground up. I see it as the ultimate project to oversee.
