I have been a tech lead for a San Diego-based company specializing in IoT and industrial products. I was also a senior firmware developer for an international professional audio company, wherein my main role was in the research and development of firmware for their products. Before entering the industry, I was a college professor who regularly taught electronics and circuits, control systems, and embedded systems.
