I am writing to express my great interest in applying for a position as a medical transcriptionist for pathology at a reputable institution that will consider my qualifications.
I am a graduate of four- year course Bachelor of Science in Commerce and previously employed at the Security Forces Hospital, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Histopathology division, as a Pathology Transcriptionist and at the same time as Secretary. I am confident working as a pathology transcriptionist, where I gained my knowledge of Medical Terminology through self-reliance.
The hospital where I worked has a capacity of 650-beds. I was dealing with 160 laboratory staff with seven Consultant Histopathologists. It is a modern and well equipped General Hospital of the Ministry of Interior, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Summary of Qualifications:
* Twenty years of experience working in histopathology as Transcriptionist.
* Transcribed documents consistently and fairly according to transcription
guidelines, standards of style, and formats of practice.
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure with time constraints, work without
supervision.
* Ability to operate designated word processing (e.g., PC, word processing and other
Software), dictation, transcription equipment, and other equipment as specified for the
Department needs.
* Strong physical ability and stamina to sit and transcribe for prolonged periods.
