My name is Weengene T. Serrano, female, 27 years old, and I have high hopes of finding a job here. I am from Bacacay, Albay, (a province in Bicol Region) Philippines.
I have a wide range of work experience from technical to administrative tasks. My first job in 2017 was as a technical staff who was responsible for facilitating workshops, trainings, seminars, and other activities along with the duty of preparing write-ups such as minutes of meetings, activity proposals, and training/workshop accomplishment reports.
I was subsequently transferred to the research section of our office wherein I worked as a Data Analyst and a writer. I performed functions such as analyzing scientific data and writing technical reports, conceptualizing IEC materials, accomplishing presentations (e.g. powerpoint), presenting and discussing different topics/presentations to various audiences, and I have also contributed to some of the published books of our office.
In 2021, I landed on a new job where I am deployed in our office's Administrative and Finance Section. I was designated as an Accounting Staff. Although I do not have an academic background thereof, I performed well in the fields of monitoring, recording, and managing accounting data in our office.
Apart from these tasks, I also generally function as our office's secretariat. I prepare our office's communications such as notices, memorandums, special orders, and the likes. Apparently, I am still practicing the skills that I have acquired from my first job. I am also enriching my skills in handling accounting data.
In general, I am confident that I am equipped with skills in written communication. Also, I am reliable in terms of accurate monitoring, recording, and managing of information and data in a workplace. I am digitally literate who is familiar of the digital world and the use of ICTs. With these work experiences and the skills that I have right now, I hence offer my service to a potential employer who might want to work with me.
To finally add up, I am presently pursuing Master of Public Administration and I am aiming for a career and professional growth that's why I am here to expand my horizon.
