I am a lawyer who is qualified to practice in the Philippines. Prior to law school, I worked for the government for almost a year. In my government work, I was able to hone my clerical skills such as drafting of business letters, reconciling accounts, making reports, and organizing files. During law school, I had the opportunity to participate in two internships : one in a corporate firm (which lasted for a month), and another for the school's legal aid clinic (which lasted for a year). Through my internships, I was able to liaise with clients, conduct due diligence of company documents, write pleadings and motions, and learn about estate settlement.
