I graduated from the University of the Philippines with a degree in Mass Communication major in Journalism. I also completed all the academic requirements for my MBA at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business. After graduation and for the past 34 years I worked mostly in research, loans administration, equity portfolio management, real estate project management, and marketing in a pension fund where I also received multiple trainings to equip me for the jobs I held over the years. I am currently employed in an insurance company full time, serving the Board of Trustees by assisting our Corporate Secretary and serving as Head of the Technical Working Group for our Governance Committee. However, at this point in life I would like to explore other work options that will enable me to have more time to spend with my family and for myself, get adequate sleep, and just generally spend more time out in the sun. And I would like to focus now on my first love, writing.
