My objective is to design, develop, and implement robust automated test frameworks, mentor junior testers, and drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies. I am eager to learn and integrate new automation tools and technologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet and exceed business requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for leading testing cycle such as Monthly release testing for PIT, Regression, Smoke Testing
• Responsible for automating non standard applications whenever needed using standard/non-standard automation tools
• Responsible for troubleshooting automation development as well as automation environment
• Responsible for conducting trainings and presentation to the testing community as needed
• Responsible for developing and implementing testing processes and alignment as agreed with product testing teams
• Performs tool upgrades, testing, configuration, provides recommendation to improve team processes
• Develops tools/solutions to improve global team operations
• Responsible for end to end testing process and results for their area
• Responsible for identification, development, execution for automated tests within their area and be able to support other areas where needed
• Become a subject matter expert on existing and new features ensuring you can fully test, review logs for troubleshooting and create new and update existing test cases.
• Provide technical and functional knowledge on given expertise area as a subject matter expert; Mentor junior testers
• Meet or exceed established SLA and provides metric reporting
• Facilitates interactions and escalations with appropriate groups; coordinates with the global team appropriately
• Work with business analyst to understand business use cases, determine feasibility of requirements and convert them in automated scripts.
• Develop and create testing data needed to execute automated test cases and document the process accordingly
• Document and review test results working closely with developers and business analysts to resolve reported issues.
• Work on automation scripting to develop automated test cases to increase regression coverage as well as new functionality testing;
• Execute automated test cases for any release and deployment assigned
• Provide and manage testing feedback in all areas, paying close attention to high risk areas and communicating testing concerns.
• Ensure high quality in all deliverables: software, automated test scripts, bug cases, automation plans, and documented results.
