I have been directing and editing since Junior High School because our professors would always assign us to do short films as a group project. In High School, I had computer subjects and the professors taught us basic magazine graphic designing, video editing, and camera angles.
I met a relative that is a professional videographer and video editor and hired me as his personal assistant, taught me, and guided me throughout my journey as an editor until 2022. I have a keen interest in editing because I am fond of storytelling through creative forms.
After the pandemic in 2022, that’s when many opportunities were given to me to exercise my talent as a video editor and director. I directed a promotional video and a short film for a school-based annual Film Festival.
In 2023, I played as the director of an interview type of film wherein the actors play the role of a family facing emotional conflict.
