Registered Mechanical Engineer. Currently working as a BIM Coordinator my task includes Implement and maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and modeling standards. Coordinate and integrate models from multiple disciplines (Architecture, Structural, MEP, Contractors). Perform clash detection and lead coordination meetings to resolve design and construction conflicts. Conduct regular model audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimized model performance. Support design and project teams with BIM-related queries, troubleshooting, and best practices. Maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure proper file management and version control. Produce BIM-related documentation including workflows, user guides, and protocols. Generate model-based data outputs such as schedules, drawings, quantity takeoffs, and 4D/5D information. Assist in preparing as-built models and data deliverables for project handover and facility management. Collaboration with IT and BIM leads to managing software updates, templates, and BIM technology improvements. Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM processes, standards, and digital innovation initiatives.
