I have a strong background in Mining, management skills, and expertise in remote sensing, GPS and proficiency in ArcGIS/QGIS software. Experience with spatial databases and familiarity with web-based mapping applications and tools. I have held pivotal roles such as Mine Geologist where I supervise pit sampling, pit mapping and pit grade control to ensure that standard procedures are met and implemented. I interpret geological data to aid in ore delineations and provide guidance in mine planning and production. I have developed a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles,and standards.
I also worked as Exploration Geologist where I conduct exploration work programs ; sampling,mapping and drilling supervision on the company’s various exploration projects.
The fast-paced working environment in the Mining Industry taught me to be flexible and helped me to adapt easily to any changes in the organization including shifting schedules, long working hours, and holiday shifts. Additionally, making sure that I met all targets and goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
