Hi, I'm Jay Boy, a Full-Stack Web and Mobile Developer with several years of hands-on experience building and shipping real products for both local and international clients. I currently work as a Full-Stack Web Developer at a software company, and I have been taking on freelance and remote projects since 2022.
On the front-end, I build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS, Bootstrap, and Tailwind, along with React and React Native for web and mobile applications. I design and prototype in Figma before development, so what I build matches the intended design.
On the back-end, I develop REST APIs and services using PHP (Laravel/Lumen and CodeIgniter) and Node.js, with MySQL as my preferred database, and I am comfortable working within a microservices setup.
I also bring a graphic design skill set using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator, which helps me bridge the gap between design and development.
I communicate clearly and professionally in both spoken and written English, and I am used to working in remote, distributed teams where reliability, ownership, and clear updates matter. I have a stable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace at home

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and I am a TESDA-certified Trainer and Assessor for Web Development NC III (with Trainer's Methodology Level I), so I take code quality and standards seriously.
