I am Christine Joy Velasco, a licensed attorney in the Philippines. I graduated with honors in June 2023 and demonstrated diligence in my studies, culminating in achieving the distinction of Valedictorian and Leadership Awardee.
During my academic tenure, I served as Head of the Academic Team for Bar Operations in 2021 and 2022, where I honed my leadership skills and contributed to the preparation of aspiring legal professionals. Additionally, as Vice President at CEU-Office of Legal Aid, I successfully managed a portfolio of active and pending cases within the Hall of Justice, further refining my practical understanding of legal proceedings.
As a student practitioner, I gained hands-on experience drafting contracts, legal memorandum, judicial motions and pleadings, and represented clients in judicial courts. Concurrently, I worked remotely as a paralegal and case manager for a law firm in California, where I engaged directly with clients and attorneys, authored witness declarations, and drafted settlement agreements.
Driven by a passion for continuous growth, I thrive on a busy schedule. Alongside establishing my own law firm in the Philippines, I actively seek opportunities for professional development through part-time work and night shifts, providing me with invaluable relaxation and enhanced perspective in my practice.
