I'm a graduate of AB Communication Arts, majoring in Writing but I ended up working mostly for the BPO industry for US, Australian, local and other Asian clients.
I started out as a customer service representative, transitioned to a technical support role, got promoted as a quality assurance specialist, then moved on to work with the training team. For more than 15 years, this industry developed most of my transferrable skills such as active listening, good communication, empathy, patience, multitasking, time management, flexibility, and problem-solving. I also learned to be observant, be thorough and pay attention to detail, be open to changes, and to work well with others.
I also had the opportunity to work in a media company as an administrative and marketing assistant where I managed internal and external correspondence, assist in administrative tasks and internal and external company affairs, schedule client appointments, generate leads, do marketing presentations, and handle client concerns about our media products.
My last position in my most recent company as a training specialist enhanced my skills at organization and problem solving as it allowed me to customize training and adapt to learner needs. It also taught me to handle unexpected challenges effectively.
I am a newcomer to virtual jobs, but with the diverse skills I have acquired from various job experiences, I look forward to being considered for a position that will bring value to your company. I am passionate in learning and excited to experience something new as I begin my work from home journey.
