With over 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering, including extensive work in product design, project management, and maintenance engineering, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to your team and support your innovative projects.
In my current role as a Senior Product Design Engineer at Music Tribe/Behringer in Makati, Philippines, I am involved in the development of mechanical designs for musical instruments, including synthesizers, mixers, and pedals. My responsibilities encompass creating mechanical design concepts, tooling, packaging, and conducting root cause analysis to support sustainability. I have successfully managed projects across Europe and China, which has refined my ability to work within diverse teams and deliver high-quality results.
My experience as a Project Lead and Maintenance Engineer at Jungle Zone Theme Park in Doha, Qatar, involved overseeing civil works development and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of amusement rides. This role enhanced my project management skills and provided me with a deep understanding of mechanical systems and safety standards.
Additionally, I have gained valuable international experience through my work at ESCO Corporation in Portland, Oregon, where I was involved in the detailing of Mining Haul Truck Bodies, and at Favelle Favco Cranes in Malaysia, where I worked on heavy lift Pedestal Offshore Cranes. My time at Sumitomo Heavy Industries in Chiba, Japan, further strengthened my expertise in advanced CAD tools and Japanese engineering practices.
I am proficient in a range of CAD tools, including Onshape, Microcadam Helix, 2D/3D I-DEAS, 3D NX, SolidWorks, and Autodesk AutoCAD. My experience with these tools has been instrumental in my ability to develop detailed 3D models, perform tolerance stack-up analysis, and produce precise engineering drawings. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Technological Institute of the Philippines and possess Japanese Language Proficiency certifications (JLPT Levels 3 and 4).
