I'm proud to say that I have worn many hats during my career.
Rising from the ranks, I started working with loan officers and brokers in pre-qualifying US home buyers, running Automated Underwriting Systems, processing loans, daily management of interest rate locks, to implementing new loan programs and pricing models, and managing on the average $24M/ month in mortgage pipeline to be sold in the Secondary Market.
I then became a licensed FL Insurance Agent, selling and customizing life and health insurance products to groups and individuals. Also, I became a Tax Preparer, preparing taxes for clients every tax season.
I have also worked directly with customers as a Shift Supervisor for a major US pharmacy chain. Besides interacting with customers, I have to manage store inventory, vendor deliveries, and accounting for daily cash deposits.
Then for several years, I continued working with customers as a Claims Adjuster and PIP Litigation Adjuster for a big US car insurance company. I handled medical, auto and liability claims for all parties. Investigated disputes to determine the party at-fault. Then later on, I worked and investigated Personal Injury Protection (PIP) lawsuit claims in the company's pipeline, to assess if a reasonable benefit and fee settlement can be negotiated with plaintiff counsel.
In the Philippines, dealing and engaging with customers never ceased, as I owned and operated a full and self-service laundry shop as an entrepreneur.
Customer-centric culture always seem to find me throughout my journey, and it's always been fulfilling to be able to help customers, might it be getting their first home loan, or finding a health insurance plan that is right for them, or calculating their maximum tax refund during tax season, or simply selling them a gallon of milk along with their prescriptions, or getting their clothes cleaned, to assisting in their insurance claims and providing the benefits they deserve in their time of need.
