As someone who has experienced working from the largest public tertiary hospital in the Philippines, I can tell that My work experience possesses a blend of technical skills, such as to Check and monitor vital signs, interview and assess patient's symptoms, provide and/ or assist in developing and giving appropriate treatment plans as needed. I also developed strong communication skills which is vital for interacting with patients and other healthcare professionals. I give attention even to the very small details since it is crucial in maintaining precise records. I also possess a very good problem-solving skill as it helps in navigating complex medical scenarios. Furthermore, It has always been in my nature to be flexible and good in time management as I know that other people's lives may depend on careful and accurate time management skills. Being updated with evolving healthcare technologies is also being practiced in my work experience. Working in a public hospital with a lot of patients who have financial difficulties, I have always been able to empathise and sympathise with them as they face the difficult situations. You will need sincerity when dealing with people's health and emotions. Lastly, with all the difficulties I have encountered in my work experience, we always practice a positive mental attitude as much as we can. By being aware of your own mental health and wellbeing, you will be more attentive to the mental wellbeing of those in your care too.
