I am ----------- -----------, 36 years old, single. I graduated with a Bachelor’s
degree in Accountancy and also hold a Master’s degree in Business
Administration.I have 13 years of experience in finance and accounting. I
started my career as an accounting staff
at a security agency, where I was responsible for managing the accounts
receivable and accounts payable for three agencies catering to 150 branches of
RCBC Bank. After one year, I was promoted to General Accountant, where I
handled financial reporting, prepared financial statements, managed cash
positions, ensured tax compliance, and reviewed the accounts receivable and
payable processes. After four years, I left the organization for career
development. And that time engage with a real estate company as a Project
Accountant. In this position, I was responsible for monitoring project expenses
and processing invoices related to the projects. I used SAP as our accounting
software, checking hard copy documents to ensure all required information was
present before processing or parking them in the system for supervisor
approval. Additionally, I reconciled accounts with our contractors and provided
profit and loss statements for each project.
After two years, I was promoted to Project Accountant
Supervisor, where I reviewed and approved all invoices processed by the project
accountants. I was also responsible for releasing budgets for purchase order
creation and preparing consolidated profit and loss statements for the
projects. I also handled the project close-out process for each project.
Seeking another career challenge, I then became a Finance
Manager at a construction company. In this role, I managed the overall finance
and accounting functions, supervising six staff members, including accounts
payable, accounts receivable processors, and the general accounting and
treasury staff. I handled financial reporting and analysis for the board of
directors, conducted budget forecasts, and ensured compliance with government
regulations, including BIR/SEC and local LGUs.
