Hi! My name is Ingrid.
I am in my last academic year to finishing my bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of the Philippines Visayas. As a student in a top university, I am well-experienced in research writing and was also an editor-in-chief in both my junior and senior high school journalism club. With this, I had a chance to be a keynote speaker for young journalists in Cabasi-Sta. Rosa Integrated School as part of Synapse, our college publication organization. In summer, I also volunteer to teach children ages 7-13 during the Vacation Church School Program in Capiz, Lonoy near my hometown.
I believe that science, as a body of knowledge, is not too far from teaching or using English as a tool for communication. I also love to teach and organize things as it makes me feel better and to start my day right. I also put importance in citing references properly since I was trained in school to provide an honest and quality paperwork at all times. I am confident enough that I will be able to perform tasks such as teaching English and other subjects, particularly Science, and dealing with paperwork.
I am looking for a job that could help me sustain my financial needs in college since I am going to conduct my thesis in my 4th year. Hoping to lend a helping hand to those who are in need of tutor for English and Science subjects or those in need of write-ups. But I am also open to social media management and graphic design jobs.
