I am a motivated and reliable professional transitioning into a virtual assistant role, bringing strong experience in marketing, sales, customer service, and education. I spent seven years as a Marketing and Management instructor, where I developed strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. One of my key projects was leading a simulated Mock Job Fair for my Human Resource Management class, where students handled recruitment, training, and employee relations. This experience strengthened my project coordination, planning, and people management abilities.
Outside the classroom, I gained hands-on customer service and sales experience working with international retail brands such as Victoria?s Secret, Coach, The Body Shop, and Tommy Hilfiger. I also previously worked in a call center environment in 2009, supporting the SiriusXM Radio account, where I handled customer inquiries, subscriptions, and service-related concerns. These roles strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, build rapport, and perform well in fast-paced, customer-focused settings.
I have completed 24 units toward a Master?s degree in Digital Media, which strengthened my digital literacy, online research skills, and confidence in using online tools and technology. While I may not yet have direct experience with some of the digital tools commonly used by virtual assistants, I am a fast learner, open to training, and comfortable adapting to new systems. I am currently based in the Philippines and available for remote work. I am confident that my background in education, sales, marketing, and customer service allows me to support business operations effectively and professionally in a virtual setting.
