Benjamin Cabalona is a seasoned data professional with a strong foundation in both data science and engineering, currently serving as Head of Data Science at Okada Manila. With experience spanning the casino, finance, telecom, and advertising industries, he has consistently delivered impactful machine learning solutions, automated analytics workflows, and managed large-scale data infrastructure. Benjamin combines technical expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, and Cloudera with leadership in analytics strategy, enabling data-driven decision-making across organizations. He holds a BS in Mathematics. Outside of work, he's a homelab enthusiast and a PyCon APAC 2025 speaker, showcasing his passion for Python and applied data science.
