I have been working in the solar industry for nearly 10 years, starting as a Design & Technical Support Engineer and then transitioning to a Private Consultant for the past couple of months now. Moreover, I have 2 years of experience in construction as a field Electrical Engineer. Throughout this time, I have gained valuable experience and skills that have contributed significantly to both the company and the teams I have worked with.
At the -----------nt, I am working as a private consultant for a local solar company here in the Philippines, currently handling a project for a government building — City Hall in Iriga City, Bicol Region. We are preparing to install a 167kWp system with a 150kWh battery. I am ensuring that most of the technical aspects of the project are of a high standard, from the design to the materials being used. Additionally, in my previous role, I made significant improvements to the design, calculations, and analysis of various issues. These changes resulted in a more comprehensive design, increased efficiency, and, most importantly, built customer trust by providing reliable answers to their inquiries about their PV system.
Moreover, in my previous experience as an Electrical Field Engineer, I supervised all the Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, Electronics, and Plumbing trades (MEPFS) and ensured their completion schedules by regularly checking their progress, identifying any obstacles to completing the job, and communicating with the contractors about any issues or assistance they might require to stay on schedule.
