My first experience in the US dental industry started way back 2019. I was hired by a dental insurance provider as a customer service representative. I took inbound/outbound calls fro-----------mbers and dental providers and answered questions regarding their dental accounts, eligibility and benefits. This includes explanation of benefits, coinsurance, annual deductible, out of pocket maximum and covered dental procedures (CDT codes).
As I transition in becoming a fully remote worker, I became a dental virtual assistant from one of the best dental offices in NY. With this, I sharpened my knowledge I learned from my past experience and gained experiences in working with different EMRs like Dentrix, open dental, and Eaglesoft. I also create patient's PDF forms including dental codes' frequencies, coverage and specific guidelines on a daily basis.
I've been in the US healthcare industry for more than 4 years and counting, specifically when it comes to Dental insurance verification. I am extremely detail-oriented. Repetitive and tedious tasks is not a concern to me and I am always eager in learning new tools and processes.
