Hi there! This is ----------- C. ----------- Jr., Teod for short. I recently celebrated my 27th birthday on December 23 and currently reside in Antipolo City. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have been working remotely.
I am passionate about staying active and enjoy adrenaline-filled activities. I love exploring nature through trails and hiking and have climbed several mountains in the Philippines. My "mother mountain" is Mount Romelo, located in Laguna. Additionally, I enjoy walking, running, and occasionally participating in fun runs. Dancing is also one of my interests; I was a member of my recent company's dance troupe, performing during various events such as year-end parties and client visits.
I hold a bachelor's degree in Technical Teaching Education from Marikina Polytechnic College. After graduation, I pursued a career in the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry, specifically in healthcare accounts. I have been in this industry for over six years, gaining extensive experience in various roles.
My first position involved working as a representative for a U.S.-based byinsurance company, Humana. In this role, I assisted providers and hospital staff with inquiries regarding claim statuses, denials, recoupments, and eligibility. Additionally, I worked as a collector on behalf of hospitals and physicians, managing claims, appeals, underpayments, denials, billing errors, and more. This role has allowed me to expand my skill set by training as a biller. My primary responsibility is to ensure claims are billed accurately and to follow up on their statuses, addressing denials, payments, and related issues.
