Through my college program, I have become familiar with various platforms for back-end development, front-end development, database handling, cybersecurity, and systems integration.
My capstone project, the development of a Clinical Scheduling System for Our Lady of the Pillar Medical Center, allowed me to apply my knowledge in practical, real-world scenarios. This project enhanced my understanding of integrating business processes into web-based systems.
My recent internship at Advanced World Systems, Inc. taught me the fundamentals of quality assurance. I first learned how to design test cases and execute tests on a web-based inventory management system. The major task given was to fix any bugs found, update codebase, refresh the frontend, and accomplish product backlog. The next part of the internship is executing test verification on devices to assist in research and development.
