• Review invoices to ensure accurate coding and selection of approval workflows
• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies, including contacting vendors for invoice
revisions
• Confirm invoice values align with contractual agreements
• Reconcile credit cards
• Provide a high level of customer service to vendors and internal stakeholders
Development Accounting :
• Review contracts, commitments, and change orders and reconcile spreadsheets
• Post journal entry reallocations on the advice of the development team
• Validate the accuracy of project costs and assist with lender communications
• Assist with construction draw packages and maintain organized documentation
Corporate and Financial Accounting
• Assist with bank reconciliations, recurring journal entries, and working papers
• Support the preparation of month-end financial statements
• Prepare GST and TransLink remittances
• Maintain accurate and well-organized accounting records
• Perform administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and recordkeeping
• Liaise with vendors, lenders, and other internal departments as needed
• Assist with the year-end audit and corporate financial statement preparation
