I was a geotechnical geologist at a mining company, where I was responsible for monitoring and ensuring slope stability, identifying and assessing geotechnical hazards, and supporting the safe design and operation of open-pit and underground excavations. My role involves conducting field investigations, analyzing rock mass behavior, interpreting geotechnical data, generating reports, and providing recommendations to mitigate ground control risks. I also collaborate closely with geotechnical engineers, mine planners, and operational teams to ensure ground conditions are well understood and managed throughout the mine life cycle.
I am now seeking opportunities that allow me to work from home full-time, where I can leverage my technical expertise, particularly in data analysis, reporting, and remote geotechnical support, to continue contributing effectively in a virtual setup. I can do full time or part time.
