Sourcing out chemical raw materials for surfactants from different countries.
Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts.
Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure timely and cost-effective importation of goods.
Manage PO process from PR/PO conversion, acknowledge with suppliers and execution with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
Work together with category buyers to troubleshoot supply issues e.g. PO terms change, delivery delay, payment overdue
Manage and coordinate all aspects of the import process, from Purchase order, sailing schedules, shipping documents, customs clearance up to delivery to plant.
