Doctor of Medicine
Before graduating in Medicine, I had my 1-year clinical rotation as a medical clerk,
which I was exposed to different departments in the hospital, such as Surgery,
Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, OB Gyne, Family Medicine, Anesthesiology, and
Radioology. Medical students gain practical experience by working directly with
patients under the supervision of experienced physicians and other medical
staff in the hospital. Medical clerks learn to take patient histories, perform
physical exams, assessments, and part of giving management, write progress
notes, and assist and perform procedures. Clerkship helps students develop
essential clinical skills and transition from classroom theoretical learning to
hands-on patient care and safety.
Project Assistant 1, SETUP
I had work experience as a Project Assistant in the DOST SETUP (Small Enterprise
Technology Upgrading Program) Project. I assist in facilitating the program's
objectives, which include helping Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (-----------s)
adopt technological innovations to improve their operations and
competitiveness. The role would involve supporting the program's
implementation, potentially including tasks related to documentation,
communication, technical assistance, and coordination with participating firms.
I handle the 5 provinces of Region 2, creating updated reports and
documentation for the project to be reported to the national agency.
Microbiology Analyst
I also work as a Microbiology Analyst at the Department of Science and Technology
(DOST) Region 2. As a Microbiology Analyst in the Department of Science and
Technology (DOST), I am responsible for conducting microbiological analyses,
ensuring quality control in laboratories, and contributing to research related
to microorganisms. I perform tasks such as conducting tests on food, water, and
other samples to assess microbial content and quality, implementing and
monitoring quality control procedures in the laboratory to ensure accurate and
reliable results.
Faculty educator
I have worked as a faculty educator for a year at Saint Paul University Philippines. I have diverse responsibilities that include teaching, curriculum development, student
support, and professional development. As an educator, I am responsible for
delivering lessons, creating instructional materials, assessing student
progress, and providing feedback. Additionally, I participate in school
committees, collaborate with colleagues, and engage in professional learning
communities.
