Mae Rose M. Maoirat-Abad is an academic and researcher with strong expertise in biology, molecular biology, and biotechnology. She has over 15 years of combined experience in teaching, research, and scientific project management. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor III at Mariano Marcos State University, she teaches and mentors students, conducts research, and contributes to curriculum development.
Her previous roles include Science Research Specialist at the Philippine Rice Research Institute, Special Science Teacher at the Philippine Science High School – Ilocos Region, and Virtual Assistant for an international company. She holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of the Philippines Los Baños and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Mariano Marcos State University.
She brings competencies in molecular laboratory techniques, professional and scientific writing, project management, problem-solving, and collaborative work.
