My background combines both property management operations and accounting, which I believe makes me a strong fit for your team. I was part of a U.S.-based property management team handling a portfolio of 56 short-term rental listings. My responsibilities included managing daily operations, coordinating guest turnovers, handling guest communications, resolving maintenance issues, coordinating with handymen and other vendors, and ensuring each property was ready for incoming guests.
My career in property management began when I worked as an Airbnb Support Ambassador. In that role, I gained extensive experience assisting guests and hosts, handling reservations, cancellations, Aircover claims, review removal, resolving booking concerns, and navigating Airbnb's policies and procedures. That experience laid the foundation for my transition into property management.
In addition to my property management experience, I am a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy graduate. I have bookkeeping experience working with an Australian client using Xero, where I performed bank reconciliations and assisted with maintaining accurate financial records. I also have knowledge of QuickBooks Online and understand core accounting principles, including bookkeeping and reconciliations.
